Field Day

The Jackson Center held a Field Day today to celebrate the end of summer camp.  The Center partnered with Mooresville schools and 20+ high school students came out to help.  The event was held at Mooresville High School.  It was a great community event.  Hot, but breezy.  Super FUN!

July 22: Happy 5th Birthday

WOW... Cole and Gavin are 5!  It is so hard to believe that 5 years have passed since the terrifying day they were born.  We are thankful everyday for having them in our lives.  They are growing up to be remarkable little boys and I can't wait to see what the next 5 years have in store for them.  We celebrated this year's birthday at home with the Thomson's.  Angry Birds was the theme of the day with t-shirts from Caroline, socks from Lauren and paintings from Stephanie.

She painted both boys a picture for their walls.  Angry Birds is Gavin's latest obsession.
Cole received "Beep Beep" for his room.  The paintings are simply wonderful.
Thanks Stephanie, the boys LOVE them.

July 20: Swimming Lessons for Gavin

Gavin took his first swim lessons this summer in Mooresville.  The rec. dept. has been super this summer for Gavin.  While Cole is at the Jackson Center, Gavin is able to participate in camp and swimming.  He played all summer!   Wonderful program.  He passed Preschool Level 1 & 2 with flying colors (jump into the pool, put your head under the water, lay on your back and float, etc.) and is now able to move on to Level 1.  These pictures are from his last day in which they got to play on the slides.

July 4: 4th of July Parade

This was our first year in which we stayed home for the 4th of July.  Usually we are in S.C. or Atlanta with my parents running the Peachtree Road race.  We went to the local  Brownsburg parade with Lauren, Caroline and Stephanie.  It was HOT!  But we scored a lot of candy and saw A LOT of tractors.  It was awesome.

May 22-28: Jupiter, here we come.

The boys and I had an opportunity to go to Florida for a week....so we invited our favorite girls to come with us.  We stayed in Jupiter, thanks to my parents and had a BALL!  It was the boys first opportunity to see the ocean and they loved it.  Thanks Stephanie and Caroline for coming with us!

June 3rd: Walking for Dreams!

What a wonderful day we had at Walking for Dreams.  Our fundraising efforts exceeded our goal and we ended up raising close to $5000.  Thanks to everyone who donated to Cole and The Jackson Center.  We are so lucky to have such great family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.

Team Cole!
